Exeter Green Spaces Network

Remember if your event is on land owned by Exeter City Council, you'll need to notify the council and request permission in plenty of time. Here's a useful email sent out to groups in November 2017:

"Exeter City Council are always looking to encourage new and exciting events to take place throughout the city, and the numerous parks and council owned open spaces are often the first choice to host such gatherings. We already host everything from fitness boot camps and mum and pram walks, to charity fun days and seasonal celebrations.

If you are interested in organising any sort of organised event, of any size, and wish to make use of Council land, then you need to contact Public Realm and send us an Events Notification form that can be found here;

along with a risk assessment and a copy of your public liability insurance.
